# Eleleth, editorial system

Eleleth is an internal editorial project: a research archive on philosophy and symbolic systems, published as essays on a static site built from scratch. We designed the identity, the editorial system and the publishing pipeline — from private note to public essay.

## Research that stays buried in notes

Years of research sat in a private archive of thousands of notes — useful to the author, invisible to anyone else. Publishing each essay by hand meant copying, reformatting and losing context at every step. The project needed its own identity, distinct from the rest of the studio, and a short path from note to published page.

## From archive to published essay

We built a static site on Astro with its own visual system: editorial typography, a family of sigils drawn for the project, and a layout made for long reading, not scrolling. The archive stays the source: essays start from the research notes and pass through a publishing pipeline with fixed editorial rules, including a new essay published automatically every week. The site is live at eleleth.org.

## The Numogramic Sigil Engine

Type a name or an intention and the language is reduced through gematria to a route drawn live across the canonical numogram — a deterministic cyber-occult diagram generator: same input, same sigil, every time. The diagram's layers switch on and off individually, and the result exports as a PNG, an animated GIF, or a JSON recipe. Every sigil comes with its own derivation inspector, showing step by step how letter became route.

Every essay has numbered paragraphs, quote-ready fragments, and exports as a typeset PDF or plain Markdown — any claim can be referenced precisely. Two reading modes: Focus, for annotating, and Canvas, which turns the essay into a board; “in dialogue with” links the pieces to each other. New essays and the connections between them grow out of the materials ingested into the research wiki: read sources, concepts, contradictions, syntheses.
