The challenge

Handcrafted, but ready to scale

BYOLEADER needed an online presence that conveys the tactile beauty and uniqueness of hand-worked embroidery, without giving up on growth. The challenge was to keep the warmth and authenticity of the craft inside a structured digital setting, one that can support sales, community and storytelling over the long term.

The solution

An online store that tells a story

We designed and built the BYOLEADER store on Shopify, putting the texture and charming imperfections of the embroidery front and center. We integrated online payments, account pages, newsletter sign-up and a careers form, inside a scalable system built for the brand's growth and its interaction with the community.

Process

From research to launch

We analyzed the BYOLEADER brand: its craft roots, its audience and its growth goals.

We studied the client's reference materials, so every design decision supports the brand's vision.

We defined the visual direction around the texture of the embroidery and the hand-worked detail.

We mapped the store structure: products, collections, account, careers and newsletter.

We designed the key pages as a coherent system, on desktop and mobile.

We built a prototype in Figma and validated the navigation together with the client, before development.

We developed a custom Shopify theme, optimized for speed and conversion.

We integrated online payments and the checkout flow.

We implemented legal compliance for a store in Romania (ANAF, ANPC, GDPR).

We added account pages, newsletter sign-up and a careers form.

We tested and launched the store, ready for growth.

We trained the BYOLEADER team to manage the Shopify theme and backend on their own.

We added a fixed button on the homepage that opens a popup with the open positions at BYOLEADER. Candidates see the open roles and apply directly through an integrated form, without leaving the site.

An archive for the history of the collections

We built an archive where the brand keeps the history of its collections, even after the products are no longer available. Each drop stays documented visually, as part of the BYOLEADER story.
